3. New YouTube feature

Due to the fact that TikTok is becoming increasingly popular among musicians, YouTube tried to confirm its credentials as a key platform for finding music using the new “Analytics for Artists” toolbar, which will help musicians better understand the reach of their accounts on the platform.

According to YouTube, more people are watching YouTube content than ever, as the COVID-19 lock keeps many people indoors. This, in turn, means that more and more people are turning to the platform for music content, and a new analytics panel will help artists better monitor such actions.

As YouTube explained:

“ YouTube “Analytics for Artists” shows how fans interact with your music, whether on your channel or elsewhere on YouTube. […] As you create a community, we make it easy for you to watch videos of your fans and other artists create using our music.”

As you can see from the video, the goal is to highlight the overall distribution of music content on YouTube – which, again, points to TikTok’s growing threat in this regard.

If you have an official artist channel (which requires 3 official releases supplied and distributed by a music distributor or label), you can access new ideas and get a complete picture of your performance. Nothing is new for everyone else – but adding these new analytics options can lead to a similar distribution and expansion of tools for accessing more types of accounts in the future.

4. How to Manage Negative Social Media Comments?

At some stage, all social media managers will have to deal with negative comments on the pages or posts of their brand.

Some of these comments will come from outright trolls – people trying to fake a conversation and/or making loosely connected remarks based on the original post. While others will be clear and passionately criticisms of your brand and/or product.

The former, in many cases, can be ignored (or excluded in case of offensive remarks), but the latter must be taken into account in order to manage brand perception and maintain, and ideally improve the position of consumers.

So how do you go about it? What is the best way to deal with negative responses?

When you see a negative comment, your first reaction may be to respond in kind and post some of your own harsh answers to put the commentator in his or her place. This approach never works so well.

To formulate a better approach, our team put together this simple overview of how to respond to negative mentions. The steps given here are basic and easy to follow and cover key points that you need to keep in mind.

This can be a key element, and it is important to have a coordinated approach to this in your business.

5.  Finally! WhatsApp will add some new features in the coming weeks.

WhatsApp will add some new features in the coming weeks

A Facebook-based messaging app reported in a blog post that stickers are one of the fastest-growing means of how users can communicate, and it is releasing new animated sticker packs.

Also, people will soon be able to add new contacts by scanning the WhatsApp QR code.

Dark Mode, released for Android and iOS in March, has been added to the WhatsApp desktop.

During group video calls, users can now focus on one participant by pressing and holding their video, expanding it to full screen.

Video icons were also added to group chats of eight or fewer people so that one of the participants could start a group video call with one touch.

WhatsApp said on its blog: “WhatsApp is already used and loved by more than 2 billion people around the world. While our focus remains on providing a simple, reliable and private way for people to chat with friends and family, we also continue to push forward our product design to make sure WhatsApp remains the most useful way for anyone, anywhere to connect. ”
